An incredible sounding vacuum tube stereo amplifier--professionally assembled and tested--for about the same price as many kit amplifiers.  Full, deep, rich bass.   Extended highs.   Ultralinear circuit uses an extra set of windings in the output transformers.   This gives the smoothness of SET amps with the power and dynamics of  push/pull design.  And lower distortion than both.  The Audio Nirvana EL84 uses the two most popular vacuum tubes of all time.   The EL84 (6BQ5 or 7189) power tube.    The 12AX7 small signal tube.   10 watts per channel--all you need with the highest quality high efficiency speakers.   If you need more power than this, you don't have great speakers.  Can be operated with or without the included 'cage'.  Includes two sets of knobs--silver or black.   4 ohm and 8 ohm gold plated metal terminals.   Two inputs with selector.   Dual voltage:  115 volts or 230 volts.   Parts are chosen for the best possible sound quality--not because we want to impress you with 'boutique' names.  Each amplifier is beautifully hand assembled and tested.  To maintain the superb sound, there are no adjustments to be made--ever.  Self biasing, no AC or DC balance to adjust.   And made with the fewest parts possible and best sounding tubes. This is a 'straight power amplifier with a volume control'.  There is NO preamplifier inside, just a passive line stage.  A ,000 preamplifier can't sound better than no preamplifier at all.  No separate preamp is needed.  Just connect any 'line level' source, like CD, DAC, Tuner, Tape directly to the A or B input.  If you do want to use phono, you will need an 'outboard' phono stage.  We can tell you where to get a great one for under 0.
