you've heard about 'em, you've wanted one. Here's your chance to own one of the neatest little combo amps made. These filmosound amps are very sought after and are getting pretty pricey. They are not easy to convert as there is almost no chassis space to do the modifications required. This happens to be a matched pair of 1948 filmosound 179 6V6 pp amp and Jensen alnico 12" speaker and cabinet. This is an even rarer unit in that it has a 20 foot cable and retractor for passive extension speaker use. These are sweet sounding little amps and can drive 8 and 16 ohm loads. This has been recapped and fully modified for use as a combo unit. Excellent cosmetic condition and if that's not enough...this one still has the matching speaker grill travel cover.  Sounds great...about 14 watts at 75% dissapation and a truly awesome extension speaker. Three conductor iec cable and socket installed. Power cord can be wound on rear cover. Full set of vintage tubes included.
