McIntosh 2200 POWER AMPLIFIER.
USED CONDITION.
SHIPPED WITH FED EX.
According to Berner's Site, McIntosh manufactured 3599 MC2200 amplifiers from May 1976 to February 1982. Farely rare amp with most of them being hoarded in Japan now.
Replaced two bulbs checked bias and dc offset, cleaned controls and switches – excellent working condition and sounds amazing.
Presents extremely well with some slight oxidation on the sides and the back, there are scratches on the face plate and the top of the face plate as well.
Large cap has small dent from original owner, caps both test good.
It is an amazing piece and would make a great addition for any collector.
The 2200 is the same amp internally as the 2205.  Includes the propritetary McIntosh Autoformers and power guard circuitry to protect your speakers.  Seperate gain controls too.
