McIntosh MC240 Stereo Tube Power Amplifier Vintage Beauty Excellent Condition

Up for sale is one McIntosh MC 240 Tube Power Amplifier in excellent working and cosmetic condition. It has been fully cleaned tested by technician. Please refer to the photos to confirm condition. My tech and myself confirmed that the original power cord was not in good condition and that a new power cord should be installed. We replaced the power cord with a new heavier gauge and 3 prong 6' power cord. I must admit the newer better power cord made a drastic increase in performance. I am including the original power cord in the sale.

The MC240 has on one chassis two 40 watt power amplifiers.
In addition to use as a stereo amplifier, the flexibility of the MC240 permits it to be used as a monophonic amplifier that delivers 80 watts, or as two separate 40 watt amplifiers with each channel amplifying completely separate programs, or as two amplifiers for use with an electronic crossover network.
