PAIR OUTSTANDING Quad II amplifier tube amps Restored 120V Transformers
QUAD II tube amplifiers. The original spec was 15W. I believe these test at 18Watts.
These were my favorite amps to use on my ESL-57's
Main tubes are 4 x GEC KT66 England
4 x EF86 Mullard England
2 x GZ34 Rectifier Mullard Elgland. Upgraded from original GZ32
Serial numbers are 21399 & 20608
Upgrades are
Complete chassis metal work and silver Honda paint with clear coat
All the finest components from Michael Percy Audio, CA
All Wiring is new
All resistors upgraded Vishay & Caddock 1%
All Caps replaced Multicap & Infinicap
All hardware is stainless cap screws
All tube sockets are porcelain with gold plated pins
Cardas connectors
Power supply is upgraded with larger caps than original.
The tap is set up for 16 ohm but can easily be converted in a few minutes
Outstanding super wide band-with Quad transformers. These sound very crisp and authoritative.
The circuits are not charged from original just the components.
