Sansui AU-3900 Integrated Amplifier, Clean, in Fully Working Condition

his is a 1976-vintage
Sansui AU-3900 Integrated Amplifier
that is completely tested and fully functional. The original 1976 MSRP was 0, which is the equivalent of 2 in 2024. The TU-3900 would pair very well with a Sansui TU-3900 AM/FM Stereo Tuner.

The AU-3900 is rated at 22 WPC from 40 Hz to 20,000 Hz into 8 ohms with 0.15% THD
Dimensions: 16” W, 5” H, 9.5” D, 13.2 lbs. This AU-3900 is serial #846122969.
I am passionate about vintage amplifiers. I take the time to test
every
single function of the amplifier by connecting it to a tuner, CD-player, a turntable and speakers.
Doing this lets me listen to how the amplifier works and actually sounds. I check every single switch, control and button to confirm that they work as intended.
After the initial assessment, I thoroughly clean the outside and inside of the amplifier and clean every potentiometer and switch with CRC QD Electronic cleaner.
This particular AU-3900 is in excellent shape cosmetically, as you can see from the photos. It is very clean inside. Functionally, all of the meters, bulbs, buttons and switches work as designed. It is hard to believe that it is roughly 48 years old!
The tuner will be wrapped with plastic cling wrap and multiple layers of bubble wrap, before being placed into a sturdy box with appropriate packing material. I don't overcharge for shipping.
