The meter demystified: one foot equals about 300mm (actually ~305mm), or 30cm, or 0.3m. So a meter is about three and a third feet, or 3'-4" (actually about 3'-3.6").
Features
A control line in a continuous loop passes through a pulley at the top and then into two separate internal pockets. A lighter line on one side is used to raise the sock while a heavier line on the other side is used to lower the sock.
The sleeve has a funnel on the bottom end to ease the sail in.
It also has a broad stripe on the outside to show if the sock is twisted before you deploy the chute.
How to Size Your Snuffer
The length of the lowered snuffer should be just shorter than your leech on an asymmetrical or luffs on a symmetrical spinnaker. That is, the clew(s) should remain exposed with snuffer down over the sail -- the snuffer should not come down over the sheets.
The rule of thumb is to make your snuffer a foot (0.3m or 30cm) longer than the leech. The bulging of the sail will then take about the right amount of length out of your snuffer for a good fit.
Though we need to price the snuffers by the meter, we will make them 0.5 intermediate lengths. Just round up for the pricing the order, please. I can issue an refund for the missing half meter on request. (Only whole number quantities can be sold on eBay listings. Selling by half meter quantities would lead to confusion.)
So, were your leech, say, 9.19m, your snuffer should be about 9.49. You could order a 10m snuffer but then, in your note to us, tell us to make it, say, 9.5m. You could also order a 9m snuffer and it certainly would work well enough.
How to Order
1. Find the length of your luff (if for symmetrical) or leech (if for asymmetrical) measurement.
2. Add one foot or 0.3m to that number. You will use that sum when you consult the chart below.
3. Find the corresponding length on the chart below round up to find the billable length in meters and enter that length into the quantity field in

prior to purchase so that they are ordered at the same time and thereby avoid a shipping charge for the launch bag and/or snuffer.
4. Use eBay messaging immediately after placing your order to tell us the actual length we should make your snuffer. For example, if you need a 9.5m snuffer, you will have ordered a 10m snuffer and then will tell us to make it 9.5m. Also, specify two colors -- one for the sleeve and one for the stripe. The colors available are

Our lofts are in Shenzen City, China, just outside Hong Kong. Your snuffer will ship from one of our lofts.
I am Chris Cole, the US rep for Loong Sails. My office is in Connecticut, USA.
Our lofts make sails and sewn sailing accessories for other sail makers whom I not permitted to name but whom you would know. They just put their labels on our sails. We also sell to the public.
The sails we make as good in design and construction as anything any loft would make for you (or have us make for you at a higher cost). You are in essence buying directly from our lofts at Asian prices and bypassing North American or European management and marketing costs.
Loong Sails uses state-of-the-art design and production equipment and only the best materials and hardware imported from Europe and the USA. We do not substitute: you get what we say you are getting.
Also, because our sails are made exclusively with European and the American cloth and hardware, no tariffs apply. The country of origin is considered that in which the cloth was woven.

Because this is a large item made to order, production and preparation for shipment might take several weeks.
Spinnakers will ship free from Hong Kong to anywhere in the world, as specified above, the only exceptions possibly being a few remote islands. Please ask for a shipping quote if you know shipment will be to an unusually difficult location.
Transit time is typically about a week, though some locations may take longer. Shipment might also be delayed by quarantine restrictions or personnel shortages at shipping companies caused by said restrictions.
